The American Lung Association - Health House Program and Honeywell are Working Together for Better Indoor Air

- That the average American breathes 3400 gallons of air each day and spends 90% of the day inside.
_In studies by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), indoor levels of air pollutants may be up to five times higher than outdoor levels.
Many homeowners are not aware that the air they breathe inside their home contain high levels of pollutants and contaminants. To address the growing national concern about the quality of air in our homes, the American Lung Association introducted the Health House program in 1933. The Health House mission is to raise the standard for healthier home environments.
Honeywell is proud to be a partner of the American Lung Association Health House program. This long term, nationwide partnership by the American Lung Association and Honeywell International will provide education and awareness to help consumers, and home builders learn about how to improve the air quality in their homes.
Whole-house indoor air quality products from Honeywell are designed to help improve the air in your home. For, example, ventilation products improve fresh air circulation, whule Ultra Violet light systems help reduce the amount of contaminants in a home's HVAC syste.
